How to reach Split?
By plane
Split Airport is at 20 km distance from Split and at 6 km from Trogir. To get to Split you can rent a car or take a taxi right at the airport. You can also get to Split by bus, either by a direct bus line or by public transportation.

By car
You can reach Split if you:
- take a highway A1 “Zagreb-Split” (the easiest and quickest way)
- take the local road through inland Croatia (Zagreb – Karlovac – National Park “Plitvicka jezera” – Knin – Sinj – Split)
- travel along the Adriatic coast from the north Adriatic (Rijeka – Zadar – Šibenik – Split)
- take any other roads if coming from other directions

The main bus station is located right in the city center, just a few minutes walk from the port, the old town and the railway station.
